Waning Quarter Moon
Top of the morning on a grey St Patricks Day. No parades this year due to the Corona Virus. But that does not stop the Lapper's from celebrating in style.
A smaller gang than usual and keeping our social distance, we head for the middle of the island.
It seems in no time at all we are there.
Jo, looks to see if we can swim under the island.
No, but we can go over it . At a safe distance of course.
We swim across the front of the island and back along the edge. It suddenly gets a bit choppy.
I follow Declan's feet and bubbles all the way back.
The water is a beautiful green.
What I love about Ireland as well as the beautiful landscape, is the positive attitude of the Irish people, they always make the most of any situation.
Happy St Patricks Day.
