Waning Quarter Moon
West Cork is basking in sunshine and the water is apparently in some areas a tropical 20 degrees. So to me it is more like Croatia so no need for wetsuits at all.
Its just Anne- Marie and I as we both do yoga so decide to go ant-clockwise around the island to get the deep bit over with.I also have my float with me just for a bit of security.
At the corner of the island it feels just as warm as when we got in. The only thing is it is murky all the way. But there are lots of little fish around the rocks .
All the way around the island the temperature stay the same and it is just magical.
A sunken bouy gives me a fright looks like a bald head as I skim over the top of it.!!
A rather less scary bouy.
Love these ones half in half out.
Only at the gap is there a spot of colder water and more tiny fish.
We hug the edge on the way back.
There is no place I would rather be and we did not have to go to yoga we would have gone around again.
Turning the Plastic Tide Tips
Good news as Johnson’s Cotton Buds are no longer plastic the sticks are made from 100% paper. They just need to sort to the top of the packaging too.
