Instead of meeting the gang of Lapper’s at 11.30 am, Tracey and I met at 10 as we both had a busy day. What a morning the water like glass with the reflection of both land and sky bouncing off the water. In my rush to get there I have forgotten my camera and my phone so Tracey takes this photo for me. Wow, Wow, Wow.
We swam around the island and I felt not quite right without my camera swinging from my neck. The water picked up a chop half way to the island and the water was a bit milky and we were dazzled by the sun. I was very disappointed and not having my camera I am so used to recording each swim. We saw a seal before we got in and thought that it would be just typical to have a seal encounter without my camera. I did not see any seals just Tracey swimming beside me.
While getting dressed we watch the large gang of Lapper’s getting into the water. I will miss out on the laughter, sauna and cake today. It is amazing how much the day changes in such a short time.
