Waning Full Moon
One of my great friends from my college days, the fabulously talented Caroline Hewitt, along with her partner Jaki and friends were renting a beautiful old cottage, in the West Cork village of Ahakista. I had not seen Caroline for an incredible nine years. The best thing about meeting old friends is nine years means nothing, and it was so lovely to catch up with her, and delighted the weather put on a show for their visit.
After a night in Baltimore I dropped Caroline off and I went for the most delicious dip just two minutes out of Ahakista. Just stunning. I will be going back to explore more of Sheep’s Head and its beautiful waters and landscape.
Turning the Plastic Tide Tips
Caroline gave me a brilliant tip. This washable, reusable sandwich wrap. Ideal for wrapping your lunch up, and heading off for a swim.
Of course we haven’t changed a bit. Check out Caroline and Jaki’s work @
