Waning Full Moon
There are usually a few of us who are lucky enough to finish early on a Friday. Today its Siobhan and myself we are just taking it easy after swimming the previous night in the pool.
We hug the edge where it is shallow all the way, so more to see down below.
I spot a huge spider crab in the shallows by Lough Hyne House .
Siobhan spots an unusual three legged star fish.
The water is not murky but very blurry in spots. I am only guessing the mix of rain water with the salt water.
It is a lovely short, slow swim no rush. We are just delighted to take in whats around us, a lovely end to a busy week.
Turning the Plastic Tide Tips.
I have started taking my own tupper ware tubs to buy my fish, meats and cold meats. It is just a matter of habit and remembering to bring the tubs in your shopping bags. It does mean going to shops where they do not pre pack meats and fish etc. There are more tips at the end of each blog and all on my Turning the Plastic Tide page on my website. I would be delighted to share any tips you may have too.
